We are deeply saddened by the shooting that has happened at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.  This is the second worst school tragedy in our US history.  We want our parents and  community to be aware of our Skyridge School Safety plan.  It is approved by our Site Council, the School Board and Auburn Police Department.  Please take time to read and become familiar with our plan and let staff know if you have questions or concerns.  I am attaching a pdf file of the plan.  All of the school plans are available on the district website auburn.k12.ca.us under the Instructional Services tab.
